Patrick Wolfe is from Pompano Beach. He began his aquatics career in high school, earning both his American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification and Water Safety Instructor certification in 2016. After graduating high school, he attended Florida State University, where he earned his B.S. in Psychology in 2021.
During his time at FSU,ÌýWolfe served as the water safety student director, overseeing the Learn-to-Swim program and expanding aquatic fitness offerings through a variety of water fitness classes. Following graduation, he attended University of Rhode Island, where he earned his master’s degree in public administration. In his first year, he served as the graduate assistant for facility operations with URI Campus Recreation, and he completed the second year of his program online while living in North Carolina, where he joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Campus Recreation team as aquatics coordinator, overseeing aquatics programming. He later joined the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services team in January 2025 as aquatics coordinator for the newly opened Ashburn Recreation and Community Center.
WolfeÌýjoined the University of Tampa Office of Campus Recreation team in May 2026. He is excited to be back home serving the СÓÅÊÓÆµampa community!
WolfeÌýis an active member of the National Intramural and Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and the Association of Aquatic Professionals (AOAP). Through his involvement with the Association of Aquatic Professionals, he has presented educational sessions at the 2024, 2025 and 2026 annual conferences, sharing knowledge and best practices in aquatics programming and safety.
He is also an active American Red Cross Instructor Trainer, teaching Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instructor (WSI), and First Aid/CPR/AED certification and instructor courses.
