СÓÅÊÓÆµ will hold its 161st commencement on Friday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall. The ceremony will honor 714 graduates, including 538 bachelor’s degree candidates and 176 master’s degree candidates.
In the days leading up to the ceremony, several departments will hold hooding ceremonies for their master’s degree candidates.
Kevin Fridy, chair and professor of political science will give the commencement speech. Fridy is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Louise Loy Hunter Award, which is given annually to a СÓÅÊÓÆµampa faculty member for excellence in teaching and cumulative contributions in service and scholarship.
Gabriel Mudd '25, who is graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, will introduce Fridy and deliver the challenge to the graduating class.
